When you work in a place every day, it can be easy to overlook the things visitors find interesting.
The walk you always recommend. Where your ingredients come from. How your business began. The question guests ask every week, or the little discovery they always mention before they leave.
These are good places to start when thinking about your story.

Whether you run accommodation, a café, a shop, an attraction or an outdoor activity, this is an opportunity to spend a little time thinking about what makes your business interesting, and how to help more people discover it.
Seeing your business through fresh eyes
Before someone books a stay or plans a visit, they are trying to imagine the experience. What could they do? What might they discover? Would it suit them?
A few well-chosen details can help answer those questions. A café might share the early morning baking. An accommodation business might introduce a favourite nearby walk. An activity provider might explain what makes a first visit feel welcoming.
You already know a great deal that could help someone choose your business. Finding the useful, interesting parts is where we’ll begin.
Over coffee, conversation and a few simple exercises, we’ll explore your stories, consider what visitors would like to know, and think about ways to share it. There’ll also be time to exchange ideas and get to know other businesses from across the area.
No preparation is needed. If you’d like something to think about beforehand, consider what your visitors ask you about most, and what they remember afterwards.
