Y Ffos is our cosy little house, tucked away in the farmyard with beautiful views and its own paved terrace, complete with beautiful blooms tended by Suzie the green-fingered gardener.
Y Ffos has a comfortable sitting room, with sofas, easy chairs and french doors that lead on to the terrace with far reaching views of the farm and stunning countryside beyond. There is a dining room area and a great kitchen, with gas cooker, over, microwave and a good stock of crockery and cutlery.
There is a lovely double bedroom with en-suite shower room, with handrails. The bedroom has two windows one overlooking a pretty garden, the other gives more valley views. We have a little twin room with an adjacent loo and basin.
There are also all the bits and bobs you would expect, TV, dishwasher, close parking, barbecue and outside seating.
Y Ffos cottage is all on one level so if you’re looking for somewhere easy to get about in, it is a perfect easy access holiday cottage for an escape into the hills.
You can access the whole farm directly from your front door and there are a number of perfect short or long walks through the woods or even out onto the open hill. There are some wonderful drives nearby to towns like Llandrindod Wells, Hay on Wye or down to Brecon.

Where is Y Ffos Holiday Cottage?
Y Ffos is located in the farmyard of Fforest Farm, tucked away overlooking the beautiful valley below. It is less than a mile from the campsite, where you are welcome to use all the facilities, including the lakes and cafe.
