Camping has always been a great way for friends and family to get together, and very few things give us greater pleasure than seeing people reunite and spend some time reconnecting around a firepit or playing a big game of rounders.
We do sometimes have issues managing groups, mainly surrounding noise levels. Creating an encampment can distance you from the other campers and make groups less likely to consider others who want to enjoy their time here in the Welsh countryside. So, with that in mind we take precautions when booking a group in, this is so that we can all have a wonderful time 🙂
Over the two busy bank holidays, at the end of May and August, we ask that at least one member of the group has stayed at the campsite before so that we know they understand the ethos. At other times that may not always the case and it’s always worth asking about Easter and the beginning of May bank holiday weekends even if you’ve not been before.
We ask that 4 or more pitches booked together are booked as a group booking, using a form we will send you. This will give you much more chance of being sited together as we can work out the logistics beforehand.
Please use the form below or contact us in the office to find out more and get your group booking form. We reserve the right to refuse group bookings if you do not use this method.
We ask for a deposit when staying as a group, this will secure your pitch and it acts as a bond between you and us that you will be considerate as a group and not disturb other campers, especially as we ask that campers keep their noise levels low after 10.30pm.
The deposit is paid by the group leader and returned to them at the end of your stay.
