Layout Plan of Fforest Fields
This plan is a rough guide to the pitches at Fforest Fields. It will give you some idea where you might like to pitch, although we don’t reserve specific pitches we do try to accommodate requests.
Large groups, of over three or four tents or caravans normally go in the Sports or Big Field. It’s called the Sports Field, not just because children play in it but because the annual Hundred House village show is held on it on the first Saturday in September. We only use half the Sports Field, so there is plenty of room for children to run and play and for you to exercise dogs; clearing up after them is particularly important in here, as it is anywhere on the campsite.
The original part of the campsite has the facility block and more tree and shrub cover. At the moment all the hard standing pitches for motor homes are on this part of the site.
Both parts of the site have electric hook-up pitches and both sides have all weather pitches if you are planning a longer stay with your tent.
